Most walls say nothing. They hold a clock, a mirror, something beige from a warehouse. Yours can say something else.

The old masters painted power, defiance, solitude and myth better than any algorithm ever will. David painted Napoleon crossing the Alps for a king. Rubens painted gods falling out of the sky. Friedrich painted one man above the fog, alone and unbothered. Their work hangs in museums, scanned at impossible resolution, waiting.

MAGISTRI exists to bring it home. We search the museum archives, restore the scans plate by plate, and print each work in a numbered edition. Not mass decoration. Not generated filler. Paintings that were made by men who lived what they painted.

Magistri is Latin. It means "the masters." We didn't paint these works. We just refuse to let them stay behind glass.

IThe Rooms

The archive is arranged the way a house is: in rooms. IMPERIUM holds the conquerors and rulers. MYTHOS holds the gods and their falls. SOLITUDE holds the quiet ones, the works for the man who thinks before he speaks. Each room opens with a numbered drop, and each work in a drop is limited to 500 editions.

IIHow a work travels

1. FoundWe source the original museum scan of the painting, often larger than a wall.
2. RestoredCracks, glare and age are corrected by hand, plate by plate. The painting stays the painting.
3. ProofedPrinted on museum-grade paper in the EU, and re-proofed until the darks hold.
4. NumberedYour print carries its edition number. When the 500th is claimed, the edition closes.
5. HungIt arrives with its story card, so you never hang a work you can't speak for.
